Lake Mashu, famous as the “Misty Lake Mashu” in Akan National Park, is shrouded in fog for more than 100 days a year, so much so that legend has it that “seeing Lake Mashu in the clear will delay your marriage. Lake Mashu is the second clearest lake in the world and has no rivers flowing into or out of it, yet its water level is always the same, making it a mysterious and mystical lake.
You can see a different Lake Mashu from the Teshikaga side, and the powerful scenery surrounded by virgin forest is superb.
